Suggest Wifes first AP?
My wife has 3 Rolexes, a JLC Reverso and an Aquanut...she loves wearing her Rolexes, probably to match outfits if you know what I mean - likes large 40mm showy watches. I want to get her her first AP for her birthday and was wondering what, but don't want to break the bank. Sent from my Zeitwerk

GMT luminor titanium
Hi all,I'm not up on the Panerai market, but fancy one to add to the collection. I want an Automatic and have been offered the above for 3500. Its a 2004 model I think and looks in great condition. The questions I have or of course is this fair money and secondly, how do the service costs for Panerai amd to a rolex? Many thanks all.
Sending a 1991 14060 to RSC for service
I bought a 1991 14060 private party and love the watch. Unfortunately, it has stopped working correctly (despite winding and a light shake, it'll stop every 30 seconds or so and won't continue). I've priced out independents and they're $500 +\-. RSC wants $700 plus parts. Given the warranty and resale bump by having an RSC service I believe I would rather go that route. I've heard horror stories of vintage dials being replaced, etc so do I write on notes dial and bezel not to be replaced? It also has what appear to be original unpolished lugs so I don't want to ruin them (it won't need much in the way of polishing as it has no significant dings). This is my first watch to send to them and I'd like a little input on the process.
Purchcasing from an overseas seller
Has anyone here had experience in purchasing from a UK dealer and dealing with import customs details? On a $7,000.00 USD watch, what will duties actually be and how do I approach the process? Looking for an approximate cost I should add to the purchase price to bring it home. Thanks for any input!
