Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique a Quantieme Perpetuel Watch
Here we have an absolute beauty from Jaeger-LeCoultre that we found stowed away in a case at SIHH 2014. It's not very often that you see both a flying tourbillon and a perpetual calendar in one watch, let alone one powered by an automatic movement. Amazingly, the complex nature of this horological piece from Jaeger-LeCoultre is matched by an equally complex name . Feast your eyes on the Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique a Quantieme Perpetuel offered in 18k pink gold for 2014 - it was originally released as a limited edition in platinum for 2013. Now listen, I don't want to type that name again and you're probably at work and not on your lunch break so let's all respect what this is and just call it the Cylindrique?Perpetuel. The Cylindrique?Perpetuel?is Jaeger-LeCoultre's complicated watchmaking at its finest. Based on a 42 by 13.1 mm platform in 18k pink gold with a silver toned dial, display case back, and a gorgeous layout that balances a flying tourbillon as well as a p
GIVEAWAY: Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Chronograph Watch
November is an exciting month at watches-dealer because one of you will win a Maurice Lacroix Pontos S chronograph watch (watches-dealer hands-on here). A wonderfully modern mechanical sport watch, the Pontos S comes in a durable 43mm wide steel case and is water resistant to 200 meters. Our favorite feature is the elegantly designed internal rotating bezel that uses a crown integrated into the chronograph start/stop pusher.Maurice Lacroix?offers the Pontos S in a few versions, and up for giveaway is the orange trimmed model matched to a black and orange striped NATO-style strap. Maurice Lacroix also includes the lovely steel bracelet. So each Pontos S watch comes with both ways of wearing it. Inside the watch is a Maurice Lacroix caliber ML 112 (base Valjoux 7750) automatic chronograph movement. This beautiful watch is contemporary in style, but has all the appeal of a classic sport watch. Retail price for the watch is $4,400 and you can enter below for your chance to win one this mon
Is this vintage sea master a fake?
Was hoping to get some feedback from those who are more knowledgable than me about the authenticity of this watch. It's a vintage 1970s sea master calibre 1020 just like the one in this videohttps://m.youtube/watch?v=W7Rby0j6RQ0I'm particularly dubious of the hippocampus as it seems to be a rather low res stampingAppreciate any feedback, thanks
Normal Bezel VS Ceramic Bezel
Hello forum!Have been wondering how strong is the Omega Planet Oceans bezel..Is it hard to scratch it? I am asking this question becouse it seems that there is a major hype right now called the CERAMICS (PO Liquid Metal), which they claim it is Scratch proof!I am pretty active, so it kind of scares me when i hear that brands want to turn their bezels stronger, as it seems they use to scratch easily. Please let me hear some comments from your experience. Are the new ceramics a big deal, or you can stick with a normal one without complaining on scratches?Thank you, once again, for your time!
Newbie looking for recommendations
Hi guys,I've recently become enamored by Panerai watches, and am looking to acquire my first piece (willing to look at current or discontinued models). After doing some initial research, I find myself partial to models with simple dials (preferably 12-3-6-9, with or without seconds) that echo the earlier Radiomir versions.I've come across the PAM232, which looks to fit the bill perfectly based on the look of the watch. That said, I fear a 47mm case will be too big for my relatively small wrist. So I'm curious if there are any other smaller models (44mm or below) that have a similar look and feel.Would appreciate any help. Thanks!
