Ludovic Ballouard Upside Down Watch
Watch maker Ludovic Ballouard presents his first self-branded timepiece, the "Upside Down Watch." A finely made high-end watch, the piece incorporates Ballouard's experience accumulated from working at brands such as Franck Muller and the very well-respected F.P. Journe. You can see elements of his time at F.P. Journe in his own watch, whose movement thematically resembles the work coming out of that atelier. Ludovic is an open fan of F.P. Journe, highly admiring the brand's work (not just because he spend a good amount of years there), and still often wears a F.P. Journe watch today. The development of the Upside Down Watch started a few years ago, and I wanted to wait until actual images of the watch were released before writing about it. I enjoyed the concept from the start. It is not overly complex, but it is satisfying, and technically complicated. There is a friendly richness to the design and complication that shows Ballouard is not only willing to have fun, also that he is not o
Versace fans gladly welcome the new Versace Gallery watches
Versace fans gladly welcome the new Versace Gallery watches demonstrating an appealing Art Deco style. The curved case is rendered in polished, 18k red-gold. It has been created in three sizes - 19mm, 22mm and 26mm. The bezel and central hour ring on the dial are paved with full-cut diamonds. The brown dial is also decorated with a stamped guilloche pattern. The outer part of the dial is embellished with the signature "exploding" Arabic numerals also crafted in 18k gold. To guarantee supreme readability, the faceted hands are Superluminova-coated.

Best ways to sell a pre-owned watch?
Hello gents, this is my first post on TRF. I'm almost ready to dip my toes into the vast world of pre-owned watches-in this case a 3940. But before I do, I'd like to understand how I may possibly liquidate my investment. Whilst I'm nominally an 'accumulator' rather than a 'trader' nonetheless I'd like to know my possible 'exit' strategies. I may need the cash to purchase another watch from an AD for example. Or perhaps I decide that pre-owned is not for me.I see that a lot of members here have bought and sold a number of watches over time. I'd like to tap into your collective expertise and sought your advice. Thanks.BenSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
