Help identifying model?
This listing is a touch screwy, as the watch is listed as automatic but says quartz... And the size of 39, did that come in anything other than the Jumbo? Obviously, these discrepancies can create huge swings in value.I dont want this watch for me personally, but know the right ones can be highly collectable. Appreciate any advice!
15400st Black Face with... scratches?
So I bought a used 15400st on eBay, aka the 'bay. Anyway, it has a couple noticable scratches and dings. The overall appearance is pretty good, and certainly something you have to get close up to see. As well, the deepest scratch is on a removable link.I paid about 2k less than it seems you get could one in mint used condition. I think it was a pretty good deal, but I'm not sure. What do you think? I'm not quite sure how to attach images.
Service Center near NY???
Hi all a friend of mine is looking to service his Breitling does anyone have any suggestions on where the best place would be to go? we are located in the New York area. Or is it better to send the watch somewhere? Thanks!
Only one authorized dealer in D.C.?
Hi all, I was looking trying to confirm an authorized dealer via the Omega website for the Washington, D.C. area, but only found the Diplomatic Duty Free Shop listed. Is it possible that Omega's list on their website is incomplete or that a certain highly recommended AD lost his status?I'm trying to do some due diligence before buying. Thanks!
Question about winding behavior
Hi all,Just a quick question. When I pick up my watch after a weekend, it often has to be would. Previously, anytime I began winding it would force the second hand to start moving. However, even after winding 20-25 times, it requires a tap on the case to get it to start running. I've also noticed on occasion that the crown sticks a bit rather than immediately popping out when I unscrew it.Is this all normal behavior for a newish Rolex? (Random serial Mk1 214270)Thanks!
