AP Band Leather Strap -Received Defective Item?
Hi Everyone,I just received an AP Band Capolavoro Black Alligator Strap for my ROO, but it seems like the leather is defective? It's my first watch and also my first time purchasing leather straps so I'm not sure if that's just the nature of real leather/crocodile leather? It also looks very dry...I was really looking forward to putting these on and finally wearing my watch since the AP leather strap is on backorder and wouldn't be available for another 4 weeks...Should I contact AP Bands about it?
AP Diver Craving Mexican Food
Today it's been 10 years since my Mother passed. In her honor, my Diver and I came to eat some real authentic Mexican food at my favorite hole in the wall place here in Chitown.I had Totopos con Salsa Negra (chips with black salsa), Huarache de Bistec con Queso Fresco (corn masa flatbread with refried beans, steak and fresh cheese), Taquitos de Chorizo y de Chicharron en Salsa Verde (Mexican sausage and pork rinds in green sauce tacos) and to wash it down, a freezing cold Bohemia beer. Question about Omega Seamaster Deville
I have an Omega Seamaster Deville from the mid 60's. I was wondering why it is called a Seamaster. I don't think it is very water resistint. Thanks

Noisy rotor
Well it’s been 7 years since this 116610LV went from David SW’s hands to my wrist and it hasn’t stopped once. I did the math on this one last night. The balance wheel has oscillated 1,716,960,000 times since then. These little pieces of mechanical genius are quite amazing. On the other hand my rotor has become quite noisy as of late. I figure since it is keeping almost perfect time that it doesn’t need a full service just yet so I ordered some PML and decided to take matters into my own hands. After all, I did play around with the 3135 a bit at Lititz when I was there for the day on my interview. upon close inspection of the rotor shaft I found no wear or jewel dust so I popped it in my ultrasonic. I didn’t have any oil to re oil so I used a piece of thread with 90% alcohol to run through the rotor shaft jewel on the winding mechanism. Upon inspection it looked A OK. After blowing the parts off with mildly compressed air I added a needle tips worth of PML
