The Rarest And Most Expensive Patek Philippe Watches
The name Patek Philippe is among the most powerful in the entire watch industry. It is synonymous with class, conservatism, high auction values, price legitimacy, and some of the best looking traditional watches now or ever made. Patek Philippe remains an independent company whose secrets and plans are tightly guarded, and its most exclusive watches often go directly from the factory to the hands of the world's most prestigious collectors - never to be displayed in a store counter or window. When it comes to high-end timepiece auction prices, Patek Philippe leads the pack easily dominating all other watch makers in regard to achieving regular, record-setting prices. Most Patek Philippe watches that yield not-so-small fortunes during auctions as extremely rare, often unique pieces made for special collectors. Peter Roberts Concentrique Grand Complication 5 Watch
Here is a watch that we unfortunately didn't see at Baselworld this past April, the new Peter Roberts Grand Complication 5. "New" is used softly here as this watch is actually based on a design and concept from 1972. Peter Roberts is a renowned British watchmaker, lecturer and consultant that created a watch, called the "Concentrique," as his graduation project from the famous WOSTEP (Watches of Switzerland Technical and Educational Program) watchmaking school. It is a timepiece he still wears all the time, and has been asked for quite sometime to produce and sell.Forty years ago, the Concentrique was ground-breaking as it was the first wristwatch with five centrally mounted hands, offering the time, chronograph seconds, pointer date, and a GMT hand all spanning from the center of the dial. Roberts was only 20 years old when he developed the mechanism that allowed for the Concentrique, and the watch was never commercially available or put into production, until now.Peter Roberts' perso
Great White GMT
Here is a pic of one of the best watches out there in my humble opinion. I purchased this thinking that it would satisfy my cravings for a new watch. I have had this in my top three most wanted watch list for awhile. However every time I see a pic of a Speedy Pro I think that I should sell this and put it towards my true dream watch. What do you guys think, sell it and get the Speedy or keep it and lust after a Speedy for a while longer?
Omega Aqua Terra Chrono
