If there was was one dinner watchmakers and enthusiasts hoped to attend in 2010, it was the one organized to honor George Daniels on June 24 at the Lanesborough Hotel in London. The dinner was hosted by F.P. Journe to celebrate the achievements, innovation and expertise George Daniels has contributed to the world or horology. This exclusive dinner was organized by F.P.Journe's long time London partners, John and William Asprey of William & Son, Journe’s UK agent. Thinking about purchasing RO gold bracelet
Hello, I currently own a Royal oak 15400 Rose gold white dial on a brown leather strap. I really love this watch but have thought about purchasing the bracelet for it for some time now. My local boutique gave me a quote of 18k for the rose gold bracelet. Do any of you guys now a different place where the bracelet can be purchased? or is going straight to the boutique my best move.

Boutique Visit
stopped into the Vancouver Omega boutique yesterday. Was looking at the new Planet Ocean LM. They only had one in stock for $5800. I was so tempted, thankfully the wife dragged me out before I pulled out my wallet. Wish I had taken some wrist shots. It is so shiny and I think nicer than the original.Also, took a look at the PloProf for comparison. What a heavy block of steel that is. Salesperson was nice enough to point out that the bracelet is shark proof, lol too bad my arm isn't. They wanted $9800 for the PloProf. A bit high for my tastes and a little to large on the wrist.
