Seiko Premier Direct Dive Moon Phase Article On AskMen.com
Seiko has an incredibly diverse line of watches. Sometimes so diverse that unless you are very familiar with their models it is hard to know not only what new watches are coming out, but how they are measure up in terms of quality. Seiko even has movements from your ultra basic quartz, to complex mechanical movement - and literally everything in between. This can cause confusion and a sense of being horologically overwhelmed, at least for us Americans. It seems as though the Japanese are more comfortable with the many Seiko watches. I say all this to impress upon you that not all Seiko watches are created equally. For example, this Seiko Premier Direct Drive Moon Phase watch is about $1,500. So where does it fit in their overall line?Well this watch fits sort of in the middle of the line. Seiko watches in the US seem to average about $200, but many are available for several hundred dollars and into the thousands (for the Spring Drive movement models) After $500 the watches really get i

have been eyeing the 15450 in YG for some time now.thought it'd be too small at 37mm, relative to the jumbo.but dammit if it doesn't wear oh so nicely.have a day-date president in YG (36mm), and the 15450 feels so much more substantial on wrist. having the DD has gotten me accustomed to enjoying sub-39mm sizes.but the heft and case lugs make the 15450 wear larger than 37.unsure if having 2 YG full bracelet watches is just too much.the DD is a perennial classic, understated and gentlemanly.whilst the 15450 is pure stunning... but the size allows it to be such without having to scream outloud for attention... which, IMO, might be the case if 40mm (given my wrist isn't particularly large at 7).as nice as the OR with grey dial is, the YG with blue is the clear winner for me.
Cost of replacing crown.
Unfortunaly dropped my RB1 and damaged the crown, ouchhh! does any one know he replacement cost Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Questions about Snoopy
After a long battle that saw my brains and better sense beaten to a pulp, my heart finally claimed victory, so I've now started researching the Snoopy Speedmaster in the hopes of buying one in the not too distant future. I've had a quick look around so far and there are some examples for sale but they seem quite expensively priced. I'm talking about nearly $6,000 though they're apparently in mint condition. I'm just wondering what everyone else would pay for a Snoopy today, in mint or great condition? Also are there any owners out here with pics to share :)? I'm not a die-hard fan of Peanuts, or Snoopy, but for whatever reason this Speedy just seems to tug at my heart strings. I've no idea why but that must be some sort of love lol. Copper
