HELP! 42mm Hornback AP ROO Question
Hello,First of all I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this post and help out.I am very interested in purchasing the newest version of the 42mm AP ROO with the black dial, black hornback strap, and stainless steel case/bezel. I have attached a photo of the watch I am looking for. As I search the watch online, I commonly come across 2 reference numbers in which the watch seems to look almost identical in photos. Here they are:26170ST.OO.D101CR.0326020ST.OO.D001IN.01Can someone explain the main differences between each reference, as well as the estimated value of each reference (assuming I purchase it pre-owned and complete)?
Would you fix?
I sent my AP in to service for its 3rd year Pressure test. AP was amazing at communicating with me that they received my watch and emailed me photos that showed them having my watch. One thing they pointed out on their report was a deep mark in the bezel. Having never noticed one I asked for a picture of the mark. They sent me one and a quote of $150 to do a laser fill and remove it. I've inspected this watch a million times and never seemed to notice it so maybe it really is just them being picky. I'm torn on if I should leave it or have it fixed since it's already there and not much money.Should I have it fixed?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ROO bezel change
I have a ROO Safari and was wondering if you can replace the bezel with the Rubberclad bezel?Curious...Thanks
Shipment into USA from Switzerland
My current collection is TTDJ II and BLNR. I was over in Switzerland a month ago and looked a several watches including Rolex and Panerai. They had a limited edition Panerai only sold by the Lucerne boutique. I did not purchase it while I was there but I recently have been enquiring and found out the boutiques in the US cannot get that watch. The sales lady in Switzerland said she could ship it to me. Has anybody ever had a watch shipped over seas and is there a problem coming through customs? Thank you for your input
