Jaquet Droz Launches New Website
On November 25, Jaquet Droz launched its new digital world. Navigation links launch visitors on travels around, over and into a sepia-toned Tim Burtonesque microcosm. Visitors can travel to La Chaux-de-Fonds, Geneva, London and Paris, retracing Jaquet Droz’s steps. Underground lie the roots of the manufacture, including aesthetic traditions and history. Once airborne, the traveler heads to Saturn’s rings for the latest news. The Moon is home to the catalog, and the Sun shines on the nearest points of sale. 3572.50 demand is killing supply
I've been trying to get one from one of our trusted sellers on eBay and the last 3 have been bid up to over $3000! Wow! Maybe I'll just get a new 3570 instead
5726A on Wolf Winders
I just got a Wolf Designs Meridian M2.7 watch winder. I try to fit my 5726A on the winder cuffs and is concern of damaging the leather strap. The cuff's face is hard while the leather strap touching the edge is also hard. If I force to close the strap, will the leather strap be damaged? Has anyone fit a Patek leather strap on the Wolf Designs winders? Also, any advice how to fit the watch onto the Wolf cuffs? It seems like pain in the ass. It takes up less time/trouble to wind my watch then to fit my watch onto the cuffs.
One out - One in 🐼
This is a move I’ve been strategizing and planning for several months. It took me a while I finally got the right numbers and example in place, thanks to my main man Takuya! This is another example, of one amazing watch leaving for one arriving. Loved the black dial Daytona. I still maintain that it is the more versatile of the two, but the white dial has been constantly haunting me. I had to try it, and couldn’t pass up this opportunity to do so.Here ya go my friends. My new 116500LN White Dial Daytona!
Paying Markup Prices
I've been trying to find a Hulk at MSRP, which as we know is nearly impossible. Most of the AD's are so shady about their waitlist, I may just jump on one of the grey market pieces. I hate to pay the markup, but if a price increase really happens I won't feel nearly as bad. There is the chance they could update the Hulk, I happen to like the larger lugs, so i don't really care if they make them smaller. OF course they could always discontinue it which send prices crazy high, I kind of doubt that will happen though.Anyone regret paying the grey market uncharge?
