Omega Speedmaster Question
I sent my watch out to the Omega repair facility in Secaucus,NJ. I was quoted a price of $ 2000 for a complete resoration. The band was $700 plus by itself.Is anyone aware of anyone who has the capacity to repair and restore other than a Omega facility?? Or should I just buy a new one??They stated they would be replacing the following: 1 The luminous material on the hands is flaking 2 The hands are damaged 3 Movement shows sins of water damage 4 One or more of the pushers are damaged and detached 5 One or more of the perminate links in the bracelet are missing. and must be replaced 6 Clasp is damaged 7 Movement is rusted

INCOMING ...SD43...10 day wait!
I had been sitting on waiting lists in my area that gave me wait time of 1/2 years, but I am a very impatient person, and toyed with going grey, but found an AD that said if I paid in full it could be 2-3 months, but likely very less time.I placed my order & paid in full on March 3rd, and it came on March 13!I think that it certainly pays off to deal with an AD that doesn't do lists, as I'd still be waiting the 1-2 yearsIts an amazing piece, substantial without being cumbersome, very comfortable, not heavy and I think my favorite part is the mirror black fully graduated bezelThanks and shout outs to all the posters of the SD43 on here, it was great to hear so many opinions in my research before making my decision. Batman or President
I don't know what to do. I am so torn between the Batman which is so cool looking and or a Presidential 18078, 18038.Damn what to do. I have my fingers on the triggers but don't know which one to fire.
