GREUBEL FORSEY Signature 1
The tourbillon is the watch muse for Greubel Forsey. Every single one of the timepieces made by the brand has had one, two or even four of this high precision mechanism. This year though, the duo are mixing things up. The Signature collection is taking the brand up a notch. The idea is that a guest watchmaker designs a timepiece. They may have free reign in their technical decisions but the piece must adhere to precise specifications regarding the quality of the technique and design that Greubel Forsey is known for. Didier Cretin, behind the Double Tourbillon Technique in 2009, is the first watchmaker to set out on the adventure. The long-term collaborator brings us the Signature 1 with a manual wind movement inside the smallest case to be made by the brand at 41.4mm. There's no complication, just an off-centre hour and minute display, subtle small seconds and balance wheel. Less is more. Price on request (33 gold and platinum models, 33 steel models). Dan Diaconu
Davosa Trailmaster Review
Davosa is a brand that doesn't get much air time, but whenever we've taken a look at their watches, we have been pleasantly surprised. They are a bit different from what else is out there, pursuing their own concepts, and they keep prices fairly low. The last one we reviewed, the Vanguard, is actually one of the nicer dress/casual watches we've seen. It had a nice, vintage design, an elegant and very thin case and solid finishing. At under $1,000, it's a winner.Today, we'll be taking a look at one of their newer watches, the Trailmaster, which is a sporty watch with an outdoors theme. It has a rugged case design with hooded lugs, an internal bezel, sapphire crystal and is powered by the trustworthy ETA 2836-2. Tying it all together is a cool drab olive dial, giving it a slightly military feel. At $785, it's another well priced time, so let's see how it shapes up.Davosa Trailmaster ReviewCase: SteelMovement: ETA 2836-2Dial: OliveLume: YesLens: SapphireStrap: LeatherWater Res.: 100MDimen

My first Omega! Seamaster AT 150M GMT Chronograph
Just wanted to say hello to everyone on the Omega Discussion Forum with my latest acquisition and first Omega! This watch has everything I need in a travel watch. I'm an attorney and travel frequently so both the GMT and the chrono (to keep track of billable time) will both be of frequent use! It's a shame this watch doesn't get much press and there are only a few articles about it online- mostly from when the watch was announced. I think it's a great value for the price. GMT, chronograph, in-house coaxial chronometer movement. I couldn't ask for much more, except perhaps being a bit thinner so it fits under my shirt cuffs better, but I can always order wider cuffs :). It will be taking significant wrist time from my other watches
