Watches NEWS
I bought an Avenger II Seawolf
Found one on eBay where the buyer had an Or best offer, so i sent him an offer i thought he would refuse, but he accepted itSupposed to be new still with plastic, says has boxes and papers (though doesn't actually show box and papers), all i really care is that its the model that was listed, is not in terrible shape and works as it should; since gray market price hiked quite a bit since last year and all models with new numbers and the new bracelet list quite a bit higher and seem to be hot sellersI think i did good as the seller has plenty of good feedback selling many watches costing way more than i paid for the Avenger II Seawolf Crappy picture quality, i think i bought the Volcano black dial, but it can be hard to tell in pictures whether its Volcano Black or Tungsten Gray
helium release valve
i read on another site while browsing that you should never unscrew it without reason- this makes sense, but being a typical man i have already done this without reason because...'it was there'have i done something terrible- i still dont understand it being that i will probably not go much deeper then 10 meters
Pp 5980R bracelet
Hi guys, i have pp 5980r leather strap and i want to know if it is technically possible to have the 59801/r bracelet instead of the leather strap. And if it is possible how much the whole bracelet would cost. Thanks
My own SD43 2018 release
Now that the red lettering will continue, as I thought, I am going to add the red second hand I bought about six months ago to my SD 43..I'll post pics when done, and in my opinion, it might be the best thing that came out of Rolex this year. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
SD43 Helium Valve Question???
On the Rolex website, there is a picture of the SD43 with a helium bubble seeping out from the escapement valve - nothing wrong with that, it actually looks quite cool. However, I also noticed, the picture seems to show another gas bubble seeping out of the case back!Is this correct?Would gas escape from both the escapement valve AND the case back?If so, what's the point of the escapement valve in the first place if gas can escape through the case back anyway?Any thoughts...???
