TAG Heuer Watches and Oracle Team USA Introduce First Smartwatch for Sailing
Well, that didn’t take long. The recent rise of the so-called smartwatch has reached the “traditional” Swiss watch industry. TAG Heuer has teamed up with America’s Cup champion Oracle Team U.S.A. to develop the new TAG Heuer Aquaracer 72, which TAG is calling “the first-ever Swiss sports smartwatch dedicated to competitive sailing.” The watch, which is a product of the R&D departments of both TAG Heuer and Oracle, made its debut on the wrists of Oracle Team USA sailors at this year’s 34th America’s Cup, won by Oracle Team USA in thrilling come-from-behind fashion on September 25. It is, TAG says, the first watch designed both for and by a professional sailing team, specifically engineered to provide every crew member access to crucial race condition data in real time. W. Schnyder died on 14 April, after a short illness. According to a report inThe Star daily in Malaysia, where Schnyder has lived of the year, he died as a result of acute pancreatitis. He was 76 years, leaving in mourning his wife, Chai, and three children.

Speedmaster automatic saphire crystal
Hi all, My wife dropped and cracked the sapphire crystal of her Speedie auto(ref: 3311.80)The price quoted for replacement at local SC is ridiculous. I would like to ask if anyone knows the part number of the sapphire crystal. Any recommendation of website where I can purchase it would be greatly appreciated as well.Cheers.

In a effort to diversify my watch collection even further, I have decided to add a Panerai 510. I have tried on many models and discovered this is my best choice based on a few things.... I want a open case back, no bigger than 44mm, in house movement and priced under 9k. I looked at the 111 but is too thick and does not have a in house movt. Plus, it is now discontinued. A bonus is that it comes with a strap I really like (a lot of them do not). I have put in an order from my AD for a new 510 in the box (I have found a couple 510's at AD's but they all have scratches on them and some pretty bad. I guess they bang them into other watches while putting them away in the safe every night). Hopefully I am only gonna have to wait another week on no longer.:bang head:Will upload pics once I get it.

Long time lurker. Fist time poster. I was in a work mtg and the AD at Tourneau called my wife. She texted me.... first line said OMG. I'm like crap, probably something I gotta take care of. Then she said there's a sub for u, do u want it if so,... u need to go now to pay for it. Said first come first serve. :).Looked down at my DJ41. :), Waiting for the meeting to be over. 5 mins left, 4 mins the 3. ....time to go!!! Hightailed 10+ blocks to 57th ave location. Waited for 30 mins outside...since I was there pre-store opening. Looking like an idiot in the rain. Once they opened beeline to Rolex counter... sales person working said no idea what I was talking about and that there are no subs around. Told them that their boss told me it was there. I was worried then annoyed, especially since I made the effort..... then they had to go get the manager of the store to see what's going on.Manager Came back with a green box :). No pics guys.
