With a 43 mm diameter and at almost 15 mm thick, it’s a large watch. The lugs hug the wrist rather well, but not enough to completely counteract its presence. Went to collect the strap and buckle for my bumble bee and they had one of these on display .....Anyone see one in wild or in AP boutique ? allthough bigger size wise then my bb is was lighter on the wrist and fit on leather strap wasnt too bad either :-)The price tag was equally shocking !

Production shortage
So I have a theory. I saved up for a long time to buy my first Rolex a month ago. One thing that pissed my off, was the bezel didn't line up at 12 with the click. Evidently this is a known issue with ceramic bezels. Some believe since this a mass produced product it was ok to have QC issues. Since it's a Rolex it's ok to have a flaw. Other brands don't seem to get judged the equally. When looking used I was afraid of getting a fake. Buy the seller not the watch. Doing my research I was told Rolex watches are supposed to be perfect if they are real. I think over the years the philosophy of perfection has gone away. Either due to increased capacity to meet demand or their QC has gone down. No company produces everything perfect and there is always going to be one offs. Long story short - maybe Rolex is slowing down production to fix QC. They could also be getting ready for changing over of the big selling modelswith new movements.
