It's true, and that is because each timepiece that comes out of the Glashütte manufacture features one component (at minimum) that is hand engraved – the balance-cock. 1 OF 4 The engraving of the balance-cock dates back to the early 20th century when Lange was buiding superlative quality "1A" pocketwatches. When the brand relaunched in the early 90s, it just made sense to continue on with one of Lange's greatest traditions. ROO 26400 black or white?
Personally think white dial's color matching is better with nice contrast, while the black dial has cooler feel with forged carbon case which is nice and unique in pattern.so, which is your favour?

Thinking of getting my first AP.. 15400?
Im really loving the 15400 silver dial. i thought it would look big on my wrist but i tried it out and think it fits nicely. Im 6'4 220...Dealer quoted me at $12,800. How does it look?

Obviously this question is posted in the Patek section, but since several of you own both, what do you prefer, Patek 5711 or AP ROO?

Which Calatrava?
Hello,I am looking to buy my first Patek (being a Rolex guy for many years). I decided to go with a rose gold Calatrava.However, I cannot choose between these 3 models:1. 5123R2. 5127R3. 5296-010RAll 3 have similar dials and hands. However 5123R is a manual movement and was just released this year in Basel but has no date. I want to ask your advise and comments about these 3 watches. Also conc and pros between a manual wind 215 movement versus 324 automatic. The 324 automatic looks nicer to me but may be the manual wind is more robust. Also the 5123 has a snap back while the automatics have a screw in back, which is probable and advantage. Greatly appreciate your comments!
