5164A vs 5167A
I want to get a steel aquanaut as my summer watch, we live by the coast so down on the beach and out on the boat every nice day the English weather system gives us.I went to try a 5164A today and loved it. But it's just a little pricey for my expected usage and I don't need the dual time as it will be for day trips only. So I thought a 5167A would be perfect. My concern is that losing the buttons on the left and the thinner case will really make the watch lose its presence as it might wear much smaller.Has anyone compared these two side to side to tell how they wear? Does the 5167A wear much smaller on the wrist?
Buying a 114060 for the 97200
Has anyone else bought a sub for it's bracelet? With my current lineup I don't think I would wear it too often but switch the bracelet onto the BLNR which at present gets no wrist time due to the bracelet being or too big or too small (glidelock has spoiled me), added bonus would be no PCL's.Have tried just sourcing a 97200 but that seems to be impossible. Sub on a nato strap might also get more wrist time come summer, only upside as I see it.
Explorer 1 - 114270 / tips and tricks
I got my wife and I explorer 2s (white and black face)several years ago for our anniversary. She loves hers, but it's a little big on her arm. She surprised me with a new Explorer 1 for Christmas this year, and i was thinking about returning the favor with a 114270 (36 mm) for our anniversary later this year. So I was wondering if folks had an idea of which one/ where to find it/ what to watch out for, etc. I would likely have it serviced if it had not been recently serviced, just so it is ready to go when I give it to her. Many thanks in advance for your thoughts.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
