Have A Watch Design Idea? Need Watch Design Consulting? Virtual Ideas Design Studio Can Help
[ad#image-med-rect]Few people have the luxury of either having their own in-house design team or being able to do it themselves. In light of this issue, companies like Virtual Ideas pop up to fill the needs of those people who need professional design but cannot do it themselves.Virtual Ideas is comprised of a design team with six member who use modern three-dimensional design software and techniques to make realistic digital models of watches ready for production specifications. In other words, they offer full outsourced product design; from prototyping and development, 3D rendering, engineering creation, design face-lifting, and product analysis for the watch industry. Swapping Straps?
Hi All, I have a TO Chrono 1461 (https://.breitling/en/models/...echnical-data/) on a mesh bracelet, but I'm looking to swap to a brown croco/leather strap.I've never done this though, is there anything I need to know? Interhorn width is 22/20 mm- do I need to buy from Breitling? Their strap prices are on the high side- are there third party strap makers you recommend? Basically, any info on this would be helpful as I'm fairly clueless on the subject.
Omega Flightmaster
I have had this vintage Flightmaster since the 1970s and am wondering if, considering the cost, it is worth restoring. The crystal is scratched. Watch is not running. Any comments would be appreciated.
Do you authenticate your Patek if not bought from the AD?
Just wondering how you guys go about it.Would you pay the Patek Service Centre to Authenticate the watch? Or do you have a specific way to be sure yourself?I know it is hard to replicate such a detailed watch like the Patek, and surely it should not be hard to know when wearing the watch, looking at the dial, the case back movement, etc. Also wondering if all Pateks have the Serial number visible on the case back?Surely matching that with the papers is the way to go. Doubt that can be forged. What do you do generally when purchasing from another seller?
