PO Liquid Metal
I thought the Rolex GMT IIC was the watch I was going to buy next, but after seeing the Omega PO Liquid Metal, no contest. I will try to buy a LNIB or BNIB or wait till the new POs come out in June.
Just another stainless steel chrono?! But this time...
really really rare! Something special that keeps a low profile...something what you can wear whereever whenevere Enough descreet if you meet clients or potential clients. For sure the 5711 was the trigger for my insight that high-end watches could be in ordinary steel too. First for a considerable time I lust for the regularly 5950 with the silvery white opaline dial. But there were doubts, because I am a sucker for dark dials. Then at Baselworld 2015 a limited black dial version was luckily introduced. What could be more descreet than a ordinary stainless steel chrono with dark dial?A grand complication in steel with black dial as slim as possible based on a extra slim movement is...UnderstatedDescreetJust beautifulI thought this will be my exit watch if I am able to get one, but it's not! the much discussed Patek 5524 aka Pilot watch
very different opinions on this oneprobably the most discussed watch in Base this yearYou had a few days to think about it how do you feel now ?
Finally decided - here's the result....
Thanks, many thanks to you guys that have given me incentive I hope this piece would be a special one to cherish. At first, I was appalled with cost and the simplicity -- also that it sports a simple and non inhouse movmt, present also in the Speedy pre moon.I had to be schooled and now I realized that, sometimes, less is more . Well, I had to switch several pieces, but I come to a conclusion that one Lamborghini is better than a dozen Beetles..... although I loved my Beetles ....And if you allow me to say , la semplicit l'ultima forma della sofisticazione. So, few pic's for your considerationthanks again!

Hi everyone .. As many of you know, I am a huge fan of the Rolex Datejust and know an awful lot about them since I own so many of them in different configurations. That being said, I know very little about the Rolex GMT Master, and I am hoping a GMT expert can help me out. I have the chance to buy a 16753 GMT Master which is all original right down to the factory nipple dial. Being that I don't know much about this watch, and being that I am able to find very little information about this reference, I was wondering if someone with knowledge could weigh in on whether or not buying a 16753 would be a better choice over buying a 16713. I want to add a vintage two tone GMT to my Rolex collection, but knowing very little about the GMT scares me a bit because I don't want to make a mistake and buy something that could be problematic in the future as far as service goes. I'm also curious if this is a watch that could increase in value over time. I will be greatful to anyone with and understa
