Watches NEWS
my AP returns
I got my AP 6months ago and unknowingly used it on a night out with a huge group where i got quite a few scratches on the bezel and bracelet... i couldnt get over the fact because they werent normal wear and tear scratches but rather quite a lot which happened due to bumps and contacts at a party.. which made me take a decision to send it to AP after 2 weeks of purchase for restoring back to original and change of new bezel..i paid a bomb but im so happy to have it back.. here are some wrist shots..btw, it didnt return with a travel case from AP when i picked it up from my AD in Hong Kong and i asked them but they said it never came with any.. i verified based on documents that came with it that it truly went to AP clear water.. any thoughts on that..?
Clear back on Omega watch original?
Does Omega offer a clear back as an original on a new watch? My wrist really wants to see the movement...
Omega owners! Did you get your COSC certificates?
Since I bought the 2531.80 last December, I didn't get a chance to email Omega after sales service until a few weeks ago. I asked for the Omega COSC test certificate (not the Chronometre card).I finally got it, and its a big 8.5x11 sheet with the timing tests done to the movement. I got my watch Dec 06, but the test date was Oct 05.Anybody else got theirs from Bienne?
Interest free instalments to fund a watch. Would you take it?
Would you personally prefer this method?Basically a cousin of mine wants to sell his BLRO. I have considered buying it off him.He has offered to make the payment method easier on me if I like. Basically to pay him 50% of his asking price up front, and the rest 10% each every month. No interest on it, but just to help me out.I do have the cash, but my account takes less of a hit, and I don't really feel a huge amount coming out of the account this way.Would you do it?
