Is this a little fault with my PP 5711?
I don't mean to carry on this trend with spotting Patek faults guys;I think I may be paranoid with this one, i'm not sure.Pretty much the first few days handling a PP for that matter.Notice you can't hack the seconds hand, and it sort of moves a bit when changing the time. The seconds hand is exactly on the 12 o clock position, but the minute hand is not correctly pointed on 40 minutes.15 seconds later it is aligned correctly. With pics.Well...
Third time is a charm
Just got a new PP 3 days ago. DavidSW was kind enough to get me the new one I wanted in a few weeks. I like it more than the world time or 5711, both awesome watches, which lasted only days. The moon phase is useful as it helps with the Islamic calendar months which are lunar too. Enjoying this and thanks for all the good reading and others opinions. Regards. Good Day All,I am thinking of just getting one watch next year (saving up for a bit first), I am thinking of getting something real niceI am looking at a Nautilus this time, I am going to stay with SS as I am not really into gold;1. 5711 (clasic thin)2. 5712 (Mini rotor, moon phase)3. 5726 (Annual Calendar)4. 5980 (Chronogragh) - I really like this oneTake care,Eric
Bracelet change out for datejust
All,Have a Datejust 36mm (circa 1997) with the original hollow bracelet and clasp. I want to change the band to the updated Jubilee with the hidden clasp. Has anyone done this? If so, where to buy this bracelet? Been pretty unsuccessful so far, any help would be greatly appreciated!
