Good day all, I never considered Panerai watches before, nothing from their line captured my heart. I am a hard core rolex and patek fan. Yesterday I passed by Panerai boutique and thought why not go and check the watches. And he showed it to me The PAM 739 due with open case back and skeleton movement and micro rotor. Love at first sight. That grey sunburst dial with gold markers and hands simply amazing. I was too close to buying it but thought I would take my time a bit so that I don't make impulse decision. For me the advantages of the watch are:1- slim profile 2-Beautiful dial 3- amazing movement with micro rotor 4- polished case look very classy despite being finger print magnet Disadvantages :1- pathetic water resistance in Panerai standards, 30 m only2- need continuous cleaning as finger prints make it look dirty (see below photos)3- very very big. 45 mm, on my 7 wrist it felt huge as compared to my hulk4- no complications at all. Black Bay boxes and warranty cards ... why so many differences ?
Looking at some pictures via google I saw at least 4 different boxes for the same watch and also the warranty cards are different(some have only 2 lines text serial number and reference, others a third and even a 4th line)notice the red accents in the box and 4 lines text on the warrantydifferent box and 3 lines text on the card2 lines on the cardand yet another boxand another box ...and another box ...2 lines text Any idea why we see all these differences ?Different country different box and cards ?

Datejust 41 - which is the right choice? Black vs Rhodium
I am really thinking about the Datejust 41, and while I tried the silver dial, I was sure that I would go with black.... untill I fell over the below pictures.The watch would acompany the SD 116600, a silver dial JLC Ultra Thin and possibly a Speedmaster pro...Let me have your input, please!!Rhodium:Black:- via iPhone
