Dilemma ROO to ROC
So i own a ROO rubberclad in SS, its the last model with the updated dial and its pretty immaculate. Problem is i haven't worn it for ages, i seem to have just out grown it and feel that it only goes with sporty attire. Although its definitely a looker, its a shame that it gets absolutely zero wrist time.I have the itch to trade it for a Royal Oak chrono on bracelet. I think that it goes with wearing anything in all situations. I like the 39mm as the 41mm sub dial positions (the new larger gap either side) haven't grown on me yet. What are your thoughts? should i trade? has anyone done the same? should i just keep it, save and buy the ROC?
Would you trade
The bumblebee for the Patek 5167. If so why. My current collection consists of the following:1) RO 153002) RO Panda3) BB4) Diver5) SubmarinerThanks in advance.
Opinions on RO Day-Date-Moonphase?
One of our trusted members has one for sale. I like the watch and the price seems fair. What I'm uncertain about is whether or not I really want this instead of a dressy Patek? Ultimately my decision, I know. Some thoughts:I love the Royal Oak design, and the price seems good for a complicated one.Case design similar to my Patek Nautilus (yay Genta!), and AP may lose the competition for wrist time.Nautilus is my only nice watch, and I miss having a yellow gold dress watch.Any advice? Is that AP model a good one? Would two Genta SS sport models make any sense in the absence of any gold dress watches? Thanks for reading my ramblings and responding.
What's in the box?
Perla is wondering what's in the box...She hopes it's her Amazon Prime order of bull tendons...This isn't my order! They promised 2-day delivery!Maybe I can still eat itThe box is too nice for food...I'm starving, can you see my freaking ribs! Does he really need another one of those things!
sit down, be quiet and enjoy :-)
Just back from the AD ... Wish I could say I took it home with me but it was a little bit above budgetI hope you see the irony in ' a little bit'Nevertheless ... WHAT AN AMAZING watch ... ARTI was there about 1 hour, handling such a piece during one hour is something a watch enthusiast never forgets
