Three Shades of Gold: White, Yellow or Rose
Nowadays, I'm looking for an adventure among Calatrava cross-branded timepieces. I had decided on 5227R before I didn't see the similar one, 5296R that was about $10,000 cheaper. While I was disenchanting after 5227s, I thought to move up a complicated watch: It was 5146 or 5205. 5205 was too large, too modern-looking and too much expensive for me. Also it was hard to find in rose. 5146 was right. The ideas in my mind haven't been clear yet. Maybe I need a lot of time to think on it.But the question isn't the model choice, it's decision making on the gold shade: White gold, yellow gold or rose goldWhat do you think about those metals? Which one is suitable for whom?

AD to keep warranty card
Added my name to waiting list for 116610LN and was called back 2 days later to say one was in stock (was not expecting that!).Now a few months on I have added my name to the list for the 116610LV. If your not on the list you'll never get to the top of the list! I was told between 2-5 years. It was explained that the AD will keep the warranty card for a period of 12 months before releasing it. This is even the case for repeat Rolex customers. It is obviously to prevent people buying and selling fast. Not my intention. Intend on selling LN once in possession of LV.I'm just wondering if this is common practice
Quandary
I am in a bit of a quandary on what to do about a potential watch swap. I know this is not the vintage side put I would like to field for a opinions over here because I am not typically a vintage watch guy.Several years ago my father whom is still around gave his late 70's Submariner 5513 to my brother who has since passed. The watch went to my young niece who has no interest in it other than it was her dads and she knows I'm nuts about it.I now have the opportunity to put it into my collection. It should be a for a fair price is all original has box and papers with a very certain history. Now the question. What are your thoughts on selling my 14060M no box and papers to partially fund it? I generally don't like to fund a watch with a watch but i really don't need or desire to have two such similar watches. My current collection is the 14060M, 92 GMT Master 2 Pepsi, Ceramic Daytona, Explorer 39, and Speedmaster Pro. So I do have modern pieces and transitional. I have never owned a plas
Changing bezel.
Quick question, can I buy a different color bezel/ insert to put on my sd43? Just to spice it up with the seasons.Like green etc ..where can I purchase that? Does it have to be custom made or would the sub..insert work? Or is it a different diameter? All together. Just curious if it can be done.Thank you. Also would a jubilee bracelet of any kind fit the sd43? Exploring possibilities. Thanks.Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk
