Favorite LE Speedy?
I was thinking about buying my first Omega. Due to it's cool history, I gravitated (no pun intended ) toward the moon watch. Then I leaned toward maybe a LE one for Apollo 11, since after all that was the mission that the first watch was worn on the moon. The 45th anniversary is not for me, but I do like the 40th and 35th anniversary models. So I thought I would pose the question....what is your favorite LE Speedy?I normally like to have a date function, but to stay true to the classic design, I figured I could move the chrono second hand to correlate with the date each day? Does anyone else do that? Thanks!
New DeepSea case changes?
Seems like many are asking...Does anyone know what the changes to the case are on the DSSD I can't figure out if the end link width has changed-
My first Deep Sea has arrived! 116660
After months of searching i found a a very nice mint condition 116660 at Capetown Diamonds. The service was excellent and it was a smooth transaction.Only thing hard for me is to adjust to a smaller watch as i have been wearing a Breitling Super Avenger for the past 6 years![IMG][/IMG]

Odd Dial? Never seen before
Looking to source this Exp 2 from a private seller in person tomorrow. Supposed to be a Z serial, hoping i get lucky with a 3186 under the hood but not too hung up if I don't. Anyway, everything looked good, equipped with SEL's which also checks out with the serial and no holes case. Until I noticed the swiss T < 25 dial on the bottom. This would be an anomaly in my eyes, as we know T was out of dials as of the 90s, and no holes cases of course started going in watches after 2003 or so. He claims its been to RSC and has paperwork etc, that dial just gets me and does not make sense. Could the dial be swapped? Like some sort of franken situation. I'll probably steer clear but interested in hearing thoughts. Am I crazy and seeing things? My D serial polar dial just says swiss made as most/all do. Did some research cant seem to find anything. Opinions greatly appreciated. Hopefully the picture is clear.
