Hands-On: With The Absolutely Insane Blancpain X Fathoms (Live Pics, Official Pricing)
This is a good one, folks.? If you know anything about dive watches, you know that the Fifty Fathoms from Blancpain is often put in the same league as the Rolex Submariner when it comes to category-creating sport watches.? The 50 Fathoms, according to some, even pre-dates the Submariner by a year, and it was used by countless armed forces throughout the 20th century.Today, Blancpain continues the Fifty Fathoms line in a few different varieties, including this guy with a "no radiation" dial, a HODINKEE favorite.? But, the undisputed king of the Blancpain dive watches is this monster you see above, entitled the X Fathoms. 2 OF 14 The X Fathoms is something of a concept dive watch (though indeed put into production and sold via traditional retail channels), that was designed to be the ultimate in mechanical dive tools.? It features all of the following: a mechanical depth gauge, amorphous metal membrane, depth indication on two scales, maximum depth memory with secured reset

Original Price For a Vitesse
Hi!I was wondering if somone have the the original price for the Breitling Chronomat Vitesse, modelnumber B13050and is from year 2000. I have been looking around and cant find anything. I would appreciate it.
Just for fun
If you had the possibility, financial and relation wise, as Patek does it but in very rare occasions, and only for serious PP collectors who have invested quite a lot on the brand already, to have a unique Patek made out for you, either changes in an existing model or something totally new, what would you ask for?For me very simple, a 5712P obviously, and with the kind of blue dial as in the 5711P, that would be a stunning watch...
Can I pull this off?
Ok, here we go, Ruud Van Indecisive strikes again. I was passing the OP boutique and it was rude not to call in for a mooch. I guess I want to be sure before pulling the trigger on my final PAM. My man pulled out a couple of divers and my eye was really caught by the 389 and 615. The added bonus of these references is the ceramic bezel; personally, I would avoid the new 692 on the basis of a non-ceramic bezel. I like the quirkiness of the Flyback but it bothers me not having a date. In comes the 389, which has a date. I would love either of them and both are very different to what I already have. The 389 is about S$8,000 cheaper (GB4,500, US$5,600), which is a factor but no deal breaker. What puts me off the 615 is the significant extra service cost and the possibility of the chrono hands becoming misaligned over time. Anyhoo, what you guys think? Firstly, can I pull off a 47mm diver and which one looks the business?
