Brown Chronos Safe: Secure Watch Home
You are a man of taste and means. Where do you keep your stuff? Luxury consumers often embark on an "acquisitional journey," starting with simple-to-desire items such as expensive clothes and cars, to more exclusive items such as boutique shoes and watches. Given that there is a market for every taste and every need, this path to possessions fortunately (or unfortunately) never ends. Don't you feel better knowing that there is someone, somewhere thinking about producing that next thing you don't even know you need until they help you discover it? The world just keeps offering cool stuff to consume. Each person with means and the items it purchases needs a safe place to store their loot. With the help of Brown Safe Manufacturing and the knowledge I have acquired over the years, I would like to explore the infrequently discussed topic of how to keep your valuables safe from damage and theft.Safes have been around for a long time. The iconic image of hidden wealth stored for later pleasure

Help for Seamaster Chrono Purchase
Greetings Omega lovers from a TRF member who mostly is in the Rolex camp.As I am not an Omega expert, I need help regarding the purchase of a blue 225.80.00 Seamaster Chronometer. This purchase will be completed on behalf of my boss's wife who asked me to handle the details regarding a gift for his 40th birthday. My boss is a real wakeboard fanatic (as well as many other sports) having purchased a special boat manufactured solely for this water sport. He has indicated to me he really liked the Seamaster Chrono which he tried on in a store on Rodeo Drive in his last trip to that area. The question is - do you think this style of Omega watch is a good everyday wearer or is it strictly for water sport occasions? I handled one at an Omega AD and the sucker weights a ton!! I also believe this model is not available with the heavily touted Co-Axial movement - do you think this would be a deal breaker??I checked the thread regarding the Seamaster, and although I gleaned a lot of mostly positive
Omega Military Purchase Program
Following the latest shuttle mission I see all these X-33s on astronauts wrists (and a Speedmaster on a space walk). I guess the X-33 did not sell, but it is still provided to NASA personal and to the military. Under the Military Purchase Program pilots must buy their own watches, but at substantial discounts (+70%) and must order in quanities of at least 10. If they order 15 or more they can have their squadron and call-sign engraved on the back. You have to be an active member of the military to qualify.Apparenty Omega also provide the Special Boat Service (U.K. Navy Seals) with the Bond (blue) GMT and and the SAS with Planet Oceans but only Omega knows if this is correct and they are not saying. It would be nice to see the X-33, or a replacement sold to the pubic again.
