The most interesting, or I should say curious, introduction from Rolex this year is the Air King reference 116900. First, I never really expected to see an Air-King at all ever again after the new Oyster Perpetual was brought out last year, but here it is. And on top of that, the Air-King is back in, frankly, a semi-foreign form as a 40 mm, anti-magnetic aviator's watch with a multi-color logo. 5980/1A on band?
Love the 5980R, however I am afraid the RG isn't suitable to wear daily for work. Thus the alternative leaves me with the SS 5980 however that is only available on bracelet and I much prefer the leather band. I presume that I can swap a leather band for the bracelet (like on the 5726). Does anyone have pictures of the 5980/1A on band?If possible, would I then just order the new band and deployment from an AD or is there a better route to go? Have to imagine the band and deployment won't be cheap. Thanks in advance!
