Watch Spotting: Super Bowl 50 Champion Peyton Manning Wearing A Panerai Radiomir On The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon
Whether it was for the sport, the commercials, the halftime show, or the incredibly awesome nachos (add chorizo – you're welcome), you were likely one of the 111.9 million viewers that tuned into that big football game called Super Bowl 50. This year we saw the Broncos beat the Panthers 24-10, led by quarterback Peyton Manning. 1 OF 1 It's no secret that athletes like watches, just see here and here, so it was no surprise that during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon we at HODINKEE noticed a rather large watch on Peyton's wrist. After a closer look we're pretty sure that it is in fact a Panerai Radiomir Composite 3 Days 47 mm. The more you know.Watch the full video below. Don't have the HODINKEE App yet? AP ROO 44 SS for a Rolex 218238?
I just bought my grail watch last month. It's a Rolex YG DD II 218238 with ivory dial. I haven't even worn it yet, but I'm already considering swapping it for the AP ROO 44 stainless with panda face. I love the AP. However, I find it a little uncomfortable on my wrist. My question is: do you think the AP 44 will go out of style? I trade up watch's frequently and I'm concerned the large size of the AP will make it unattractive to many in the future. My friends think I'm nuts for considering getting rid of the President for the AP. My wife thinks I have a sickness since as soon as I obtain a watch, I'm already thinking about the next one.

Quick intro
Hi all,I just realized I never properly introduced myself to the forum. My appreciation for watches started with a Timex Ironman I was given for one of my childhood birthdays.A grad gift from the old folks - an Omega Aqua Terra 8500 - acquainted me with higher end watch brands and my pocketbook has been paying the price ever since.I'm active on one of the other boards, but haven't been contributing much here as I wasn't part of the club. In part, the it was the Rolex stigma that kept me away - i.e. the perception that most owners buy them primarily as a status symbol - as well as the ubiquitousness of the Submariner. However, I've since become better acquainted with the other models, including the under-the-radar 16570 which I just purchased NOS. Now if only I can find a NOS 16600.....Looking forward to participating in the forum!
Thinking about a Pam 537
I was walking around my local AD yesterday and have always enjoyed looking at panerai. None of them have ever really caught my eye enough for me to jump on and pull the trigger. So long story short I was walking around and lo and behold I see a 42mm panerai, dial on it is absolutely gorgeous with the waffle finish and the strap combo is just stunning. I am thinking long and hard about this one, my AD is willing to do 15% off haven't been able to talk them into more (yet). Wondering what everyone in the Panerai forum thinks of the 537 and how it is for an everyday watch.thanks again and if you have some pictures please post them =)
