It's almost October, and that means the Geneva auctions are just around the corner. Today we are happy to show you some of the highlights of Phillips' second Geneva auction, and boy are there some killers. First, you may remember that in Phillips' first sale this may, several records were set, including the most expensive steel watch and the most expensive Daytona. New ROO to the collection
Have had an ROO RC for several years now. But when I got that ROO the blue/orange ROC was something I had been lusting after at the same time. Then a few years later, the blue/orange ROO was launched and my jaw dropped. I had to have it! Well, the time finally came when Len posted his for sale last week and we came to a happy place to strike a deal. Len (aka gogator1) was excellent to conduct a deal with and the watch was exactly as described, even better than the photos he sent me. He really tried to capture any little flaw (maybe 1-2 total) in the perfect light so there were no surprises. Excellent communication and I finally have my color fix! Quick photo, wrist shots later.
