MB&F LM2 Legacy Machine No. 2 Watch
Welcome to the LM2, the second "Legacy Machine" to exit the house of one of Geneva's most forward thinking high-end watch brands. Let's go back in time to the Legacy Machine No 1 for a moment. Two years ago I am sitting with MB&F founder Max Busser in a small room in Switzerland. A tray covered in a black polishing cloth means that Max is about to give me one of his famous presentations. Busser composes - with what I imagine is great delight - a unique presentation upon unveiling each new MB&F timepiece. His performances are legendary, and a key element in how so many people have become excited about the brand. Consider yourself lucky if you've had the opportunity to see Max in action."I imagined what MB&F would have been if I was born in 1876 versus 1976. The Legacy Machine is not the Horological Machine (the name given to MB&F's thus released watches). The Legacy Machine collection is a total departure from what we have been designing until now." Max isn't kidding. Mo
Artya Watches For KISS: With Gene Simmons & More
First I want to say that these watches were sort of commissioned by the members of KISS. Yvan Arpa of Artya was contacted by Gene Simmons who said that he liked his work and wanted to have Artya make special watches for KISS. So Arpa flew out to LA to spend time with the band members, talk watches, and voila! Artya watches uniquely made for KISS (and available as piece unique models for you).I would really like to know more about what Yvan Arpa did with Gene Simmons for a week. I tried to ask him but didn't get much information. Apparently they liked the result. Right now there are three watches. Each are in 47mm wide Artya "deconstructed" cases. The first one features Gene Simmons, then another with Paul Stanley, and the last one has a KISS guitar pick and guitar string in the dial - that were actually used by Paul Stanley. Interesting use of a guitar pick in a watch I must say. These look a bit spooky and surrealwhich is probably exactly what the KISS folk wanted. While it is unclear

AP issues?
Hi everyone,Not trying to stir the pot here but I'm seriously considering to purchase an AP, however, I'd like to hear the cons too. I currently have a Rolex TT dj41, and I would like to purchase a second one for my daily wear. The Diver, ROO elephant, and blue dial RO are my options. However, due to the price point, I want to make sure that I fully know what I'm paying for, or I stand to lose a significant amount of money if I end up with buyers remorse. I stumbled upon this YouTube video and I've read some of the complaints about AP too in the comment section of the video. https://m.youtube/watch?v=oN4TY7opDyoSome of the negative comments include: 1. Bezel scratches easily. The metal is soft compared to the one Rolex use. And the shape of the case and bezel makes it a scratch magnet. 2. The watch is not as great looking if not in pristine condition. E.g. Multiple scratches, etc 3. You are paying for prestige versus value for the watch as watch is not as durable as Rolex and has some
