Introducing: The Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute Reverso Duo
Today has been an incredible day of seeing the best of what is new at SIHH 2016. One watch that sticks in my mind is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute Duo Face. As you may know this year is the 85th anniversary of the Reverso watch and Jaeger is pushing it in a big way. They have re-vamped many different versions of the classic design and are working with new partners (including Christian Louboutin, but more on that later) to create innovative, elegant and fresh designs, and for me that is this watch. 1 OF 2 The Tribute line is part of the, you guessed it, tribute to the 85th anniversary of the Reverso. This particular model, the Tribute Duo, is an elegant interpretation of the old classic. The stainless-steel rectangular wristwatch measures 42.8 mm by 25.5 mm. The time-only first dial is a granulated silvered dial, which has a rougher texture than your standard JLC Reverso, with bold applied blued steel indexes and hands. The flip side is a darker gray-blue dial with the time
How does the 15400 Wear compared to a Rolex Datejust II
Hello I am very interested in acquiring a 15400 and was wondering how it wears size and confortwise compared to a 41mm Rolex Datejust 2.If you own both I would appreciate if you could post side by side pics.Thank youAndr
I'm Back, and Incoming!!!
I posted a thread a few weeks back how I finally traded my Daytona for a RO. I had the watch shipped to Santa Fe, where I was getting married, so I didn't have it when I made the thread.I then didn't want to take it on my honeymoon because I didn't want to deal with sand and sunscreen on it. So I FINALLY will have it on my wrist for more than 4 days, and had the opportunity to take some pics after being gone for the past 2 weeks.Big thanks to all of you enablers on here! The wrist shot, I love how this wraps around my wrist perfectly! uploadfromtaptalk1437343633444.jpguploadfromtaptalk1437343685632.jpgI could stare at it for hours - and that's before I even take a look at that sweet backside.uploadfromtaptalk1437343708695.jpgWhere I was 2 weeks back for the wedding. uploadfromtaptalk1437343803772.jpgAll last week.uploadfromtaptalk1437343854597.jpgSent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
Incoming..... First AP!! Yummy
Because of all you AP forum posters I had to have one... you bastards... . My visit to the AP boutique in Paris last month didn't help.1.jpgWired the funds to a TRF trusted seller a short while ago and it should arrive tomorrow. Special thanks to Mike (aka kilyung) for being kind enough to help answer a few queries last night and to all you AP forum posters for making me want it!A little waffle below while we wait...waffle.jpg
Would you buy a 5970p without papers?
I checked that watch is not stolen but papers were misplaced by original owner.I know I can get archive papers next year (after 5 years) but would you buy one without papers - assuming there is a $10-$15k discount on the price (from what a normal complete PP 5970p would cost).watch is still in original seal from Patek....thanks in advance!
