Fonderie 47 Transforming Cufflinks By Roland Iten
While these cufflinks are not a watch and don't tell the time, they are closely related to the watch industry. They are also the first cool item from an interesting brand which has just officially made its debut. The brand is Fonderie 47 (which I will explain more below) and the man who designed these cuff links for them is Roland Iten - a friend and very talented inventor who conceives things like the world's most expensive belt buckles. Now he has designed what is likely the world's most complicated and expensive cuff links. Check out my coverage and video of a Roland Iten belt buckle here.Roland Iten has not yet produced a watch, though he has designed a number of concept watches that if ever made will be truly incredible. Roland Iten's workshops is actually part of the Richemont Group and his inventions are both useful and luxurious. The Fonderie 47 Cufflinks are a shining example of the type of things that Roland can dream up. Zohiko craftsmen are experts in the traditional art of the maki-e

Why is the 15300 expensive? =/
Serious question. It's not too far from the 15202, which will probably hold value much better. The 15450 37MM is a little on the small side, and the 15400 is a little on the large side; hence. I am looking for the 39MM.The 15300 makes no sense with the current price though.I can find a very lightly used 15400 for less.Even saw a brand new 15400 go for less.
At least you don't look like the guy standing in the middle...
I am working this week in my companies vendor booth at the Arizona Bar Association Annual Convention. I normally wear a sport coat to these deals but since it is only slightly cooler than the surface of the sun here I wore slacks and a polo shirt yesterday. For background...We are a legal document services provider (process service, court filing, research etc) along with being a private investigative agency who specializes in skip tracing and asset location so law firms make up the majority of our clients hence the attendance.I am standing there and a well dressed attorney walks by our booth and asks what we offer for services and I go into my schpeel. He stands there nodding his head then goes Business must be pretty damn good for you! as a statement, not a question. I say yes, it's petty good. He follows up with, It must be better than pretty good. I didn't realize process servers made so much money to afford an AP (I was wearing my RC) and continued with, damn, if I had known that
Omega Speedmaster Testing....NASA
There has been quite a bit of talk about the Omega Speedmaster lately. Much of it to do with it's certification for the NASA spacewalk program. The Speedy has a strong following and has reached cult status throughout the world for it's reliability and feats of legend in space..For those interested here is an interesting site that tells about testing the watch.Speedy TestingOh, and once again, the backside of mine....just 'cause I think it's cool...And the business end......
