Embellished with 27 jewels, this mechanism incorporates an exclusive Corum "Gold Concept" rotor. The movement offers a 42-hour power reserve.The blue interpretation is endowed with a bezel and horns, enhanced by a subtle interplay of 387 pure TW VVS diamonds and two sapphires. The overall weight of the dazzling diamonds constitutes 2.45 carats. The white variation, meanwhile, features a bezel, with the inner surface paved with 91 diamonds and 2 sapphires. The weight of the scintillating diamonds totals to 0.7 carats.

Initial Impression: Bulova 96A102 Commemorative Hack Watch
I was drawn to the Bulova 96A102 for a few reasons: It has a seconds subdial, it can be found reliably for under $100 and its looks, though military, are from a very different era and it stands out amongst the current crop of military inspired watches. Turns out that this watch is a reissue of the hack watch that Bulova made for the US armed forces during World War 2. For those who don't know, a hack watch is a mechanical watch where the seconds hand can be stopped for exact setting of time, which is very necessary for synchronizing soldiers. This reissue is a quartz movement, so the second stops as well, but it is technically not a hack movement. Regardless, the history of this watch adds authenticity to its design, and makes it a more interesting piece.So far, I find the watch to be a great purchase. It is well built, but on the lighter side, making it very comfortable to wear, especially in the warm weather. It measures 40 x 11mm with a lug width of 20mm, so it is a nice medium size

Ready to buy an Omega
Hello all--Like most of you in the forum, my love of wristwatches has led me here and I am ready to buy my first Omega. Have checked out my local AD here in my province, and they appear pretty firm on their MSRP's (-10%)--there is not a lot of competition here.I am looking abroad for a competitive price on the PO 2200.50 or a Speedy Pro--am also considering a used or NOS 2254 (if they still exist). I am hearing about a lot of AD's Stateside that are willing to deal. Anyone out there who can point me in the right direction?BTW--thanks to all for the information that I have been able to pick up here.Dan
