Hot on the heels of the release of its seventh issue, Maleh's brainchild has become one of the most interesting, creative, and talked about publications in the world for its unrelenting looks at craftsman and artists doing things the old-fashioned way, coupled with incredible original and archival photography. Maleh and his magazine are both particular and unabashed in their focus, and today I am proud to present you with an inside look at this taste-maker's personal wristwatch collection. This is Talking Watches with Man of the World founder Alan Maleh. 1 OF 20 Alan is a serious watch lover. Could'nt resist trying this AP
Went to collect the strap and buckle for my bumble bee and they had one of these on display .....Anyone see one in wild or in AP boutique ? allthough bigger size wise then my bb is was lighter on the wrist and fit on leather strap wasnt too bad either :-)The price tag was equally shocking !
Picked this up Today
All I can say is WOW. On a leather strap this thing is real classy. Almost has a dress watch appeal to it. Omega did a great job on the Speedmaster 9300. I have had a couple Daytonas............as I AM Mr. Daytona after all, and all I can say is this blows it away. This coming from a Rolex fanboy too. If you have been on the fence about one of these or you are a Speedy Pro fanboy and can't get past the fact they touched the beloved moon watch, get over it and give it a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Perfect Rolex & Patek duo
Just for fun, lately I've been thinking about what would be my Rolex & Patek duo of choice for life (I don't know why, since I'm not looking to purchase). After much thought I've come to the conclusion that I would pick my SubC Date and the 5712. I think they compliment each other very well and I'm very casual so I dont need a dress watch. Curious to know what TRF would pick from the two best brands in the world imho. Some pics of my duoSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
