Parmigiani Pershing CBF Chronograph Watches At The 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil
Parmigiani Pershing Chronograph 005 CBF Brazil EditionThe World Cup is one of the few global events that unites us as humans sharing one small planet in a vast universe. Every four years, the nations of the world compete in a mostly friendly atmosphere in one country to see who will be crowned world champions of football, or futebol in Portuguese (or soccer, if you are in the US).This global event is seen by almost every member of this planet of ours, and the passions run deep. As football is one of the rare sports that requires little equipment or special physical attributes to master, anyone and everyone can play. This democratic spirit is also reflected by the fact that every country in the world is mad about "the beautiful game" C and to see?just how mad the watch world is about this occasion, check out our article?comprising all noteworthy Watches Of The 2014 Brazil World Cup.However, while the entire world loves football, perhaps no other country is more associated with the sport
Blancpain 500 Fathoms Titanium Watch
Wow, I did not expect to see something so bold from Blancpain this year. This is a totally new route for their diving watches. At first I was torn about the look (didn't see to be much more than what Invicta could come up with), but then I began to appreciate the more subtle items. Retained are the sapphire crystal tops on the rotating bezel (such a nice feature by the way), and new are the hands, and the face. The hands are really designed for perfect legibility in both light and dark situations, not one or the other which is sometimes the fact. They also remind me of torpedoes. Somehow, it seems to make the watch easy to read in the dark when you aren't used to simply using the hands.Blancpain opted to go with a light weight titanium case for this large 48mm wide watch. Added to the case is a helium escape valve, which might be useful for a handful of you out there. The original wa
Ben Bridge Jewelers is no longer an authorized Omega dealer . . .
I heard it last Friday from another Omega AD and it was confirmed by a friend who works at a local Ben Bridge store today. He is a Sales Associate and did not know the reason, but they got the memo this morning. He mentioned that they are going to offer all their Omega stock at 20% off. I was not impressed because I get 30% off from an out-of-state AD.
Has there been an increase in Nautilus demand?
I have noticed that prices for all Nautiluses have jumped significantly in the last year. 5711's were a few k over list and are now MUCH more than that. 5712's were available at around list and now also very expensive. Annual calendars were undesirable and now also seem in demand. What happened? Vintage market finally helming the more modern market?
372 on a custom strap from ABP Paris
While in Paris on holiday I decided to give Atelier du Bracelet Parisien (ABP) a visit, and what a great visit it was. They have the most amazing collection of leather, and the guys were really helpful. I decided to go with a blue elephat leather strap and I am loving the result. Enough with the talking, here are the picturesAt ABPOn a German autobahnAnd enjoying a drink
