Xetum Tyndall PVD Black Watch
This month California-based watch maker Xetum will release a PVD black cased version of their Tyndall watch. You can even get one in time for Halloween. The Tyndall is their flagship watch and comes in a 40mm wide steel case. This Tyndall PVD model is black with a matte finish. It also has a PVD black coated rotor in the automatic Swiss ETA 2895 movement. That isn't anything hugely different compared to the current model, but it is a new color selection which does add a nice additional flavor to the Tyndall collection.Right now the Tyndall PVD will only be available on a black leather strap. Perhaps a PVD bracelet will be available in the future. Another piece of good news is that the PVD black version of the Tyndall will only cost $100 more than the polished metal version. That means a retail price of $1,495 and you can pre-order them here. Looking at AP, have some Q's re 15400
1) I typically like a bit of weight to my watches. How much does the 15400 weigh in stainless?2) Is the 15400 robust enough to reasonably handle the day to day wear like a Rolex Submariner can?3) Can anyone recommend an AD in the Toronto area? I'm leaning toward the blue face, do they typically discount and how much.Thx in advance.

Bezel and face switch for bond SMP?
Hi there, I was wondering if it was possible to send my blue bond SMP to Omega for them to switch the bezel and face to black ones? Basically to make it look like the new black bond!Thanks for your helpDave

How many are ideal (for you)?
Getting to the point where I think I've accumulated too many watches to enjoy them all.Not sure what to thin out, though I'm just not a fan of having stuff sit around. Usual rule is if it sits, out it goes but then I've worn things that have been sitting on the winder a while and get the nope, not ready to let this go just yet feeling. Asking for opinions here to see where people land on this: do you have an ideal number? Or just get as many that you like and can afford? What is the rationale behind the #, if you have one?

New 114060 now or wait until Basel?
My salesman at the local AD is my friend and messaged me this morning that he just got in a 114060 ND Sub and he would hold it for me if I wanted it. I would love to grab it even though I bought a new Air King from him 2 weeks ago but I don't want to miss out on some new amazing piece released at Basel because I just busted my nut on a Sub. Legit dilemma. Haha
