The Chopard Happy Snowflake watch captures the joy of winter weather
The Chopard Happy Snowflake watch captures the joy of winter weather in a piece of wearable art. The watch ismade of steel with a white gold bezel. It has a snowflake design on the white dial. Three diamonds and adiamond snowflake float loose over the face. The white band adds to the look of a winter wonderland for the wrist.
leave iit or fix it?
bought a Breit Chono Cockpit (2nd hand) a few months ago for $1300.A few weeks ago it stopped for unknown reason (no drop or anything) 3rd repair shop finally found the problem, and its thrashed.$700 or so to fix it...Should I write it off or get it fixed? Bear in mind I will have to pay out the $700 in installments because I do NOT have that laying around....
Great article in the June Watchtime on Omega Speedmasters.
Well worth reading.
What happened this year? Some observations from a onlooker from the sidelines....
I'm not purchasing any new watches this year just watching from the sideslines but......1. I seems like everyone hoped for a SS Coke but you got the SS Pepsi on jubilee.... beautiful watch that many have been searching for a super jubilee to mod for themselves.2. A lot of ppl wanted the Rootbeer brought back.... but dang, not in PM I guess. Or TT but they are nice too.3. Someone must be throwing up in their mouth a little with the jewels on the Daytona, the sacred Daytona, bedazzled. 4. 36mm must still be a mans size watch b/c Rolex keeps making them (w diamonds.... more vomit expected)5. The Deep Sea, a bracelet upgrade. Sounds fair, it probably needed it.Anyone else have any opinions?
My collection, for now.
Hi AllI bought my first Rolex about 12 years ago. A white dial Explorer II. For 12 years, I was completely out of the Rolex watch scene. A couple times, I thought about getting another watch, looked at Omega, but I didn't pull the trigger. About 6 months, after hearing my older brother getting his 3rd watch, I started checking the current Rolex collection and was immediately drawn to the beauty of D-blue. I joined the forum, called around all the local dealers, a week later. I got the watch. This forum is a dangerous place. I was addicted. I started reading more, I started looking at several other models. All the beautiful owner's pictures are bad... Anyway, I was lucky to get the D blue, BLNR, Sub-LV, and Sky-D in 6 Months period. Here is my current collection (Lady datejust and the hulk are my wife's). Next will be Daytona white20180304_111558.jpgSent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
