Bremont America's Cup Collection With Four New Watches
Sponsoring the prestigious boat race America's Cup has proven to be?a big deal for a number of watch brands so far, and as of May earlier in 2015,?Bremont is the first British watchmaker to?be the official timekeeper of the event. Furthermore, Bremont also works with Oracle Team USA, one of the major sailing teams to enter the race. Such an important occasion demands at least a special edition to go with it C we are seeing much more than that this time around though, as the Bremont America's Cup Collection has been announced today, containing four different C albeit not entirely new C references. Two, the Bremont AC I and Bremont AC II, respectively, are dedicated to the America's Cup 2017 event and are more elegant in their styling C going well with the "official timekeeper" title the brand has acquired. The other two, much sportier in?construction and overall appearance, are the Bremont Oracle I and Bremont Oracle II watches which, as their names indicate, are designed to go with the
School me on the Scuba models
Looking to add my first AP to my collection. I recently came across the Scuba models which appear to be the same 44mm case as the ROO Diver but the dial has numerals and there is a small colored band around the dial circumference. I think the small touch of color looks great and very unique. I have many questions though.I don't see these listed on the AP site at all. I think some are special editions?Am I correct that the case is identical to the ROO Diver? Why have I not seen one for sale or on display here on TRF? There is no shortage of rare and unique pieces here!Anything good or bad to watch out for?I like the 44mm size and I tried on a diver and loved it. I'm used to my PAM233, Deep Sea and Navitimer so no stranger to a larger timepiece. I do enjoy more unique or interesting watches, ie Hulk vs a traditional black Sub.This option may be a good match for me, what do you think? Price should be higher or lower than the Diver? Thanks!
Another new SMP
I know a few here have been acquiring the new SMP ceramic, so I wanted to join in the fun. Here are some quick shots of my new blue SMP-C, love it.Cheers,-Marc
who knows more about this wonderfull Patek philippe ?
I love this watch very much. I would love to see it one day irl.afaik it is an extremely rare platinum piece but I would like to know more about the availability. On some forums I read they will make this watch 4 years, but a very few number per year. What is a few ? 50 per year ? 150 ? 250 ? 500 ?On other forums some people said it is impossible to get. They will dicontinue this platinum chronograph at basel 2009. I think the first examples were delivered half 2008.So this would mean less than 1 year production.I can't afford such a watch but I would LOVE to see one irl Will I ever get the chance to see one at the AD ?Thanks,L
New Rolex Stickers
Hi looking for some advice please.I am collecting a new piece this evening to add to my collection and am very excited.I really want to try and keep it as new, but the dealer will not release the watch with the stickers on. They are saying that this is a Rolex rule.Is this true.I have never had this with PP or Tudor , but this is the first new Rolex that I have purchased in a long timeThx Scott
