Serious reliability questions on modern RO's...
I recently wanted to buy a Ro, the regular model new style in 41mm, here's a link to show you which one I'm talking about as I am not a specialist and don't know the OP references:.shop.rivierawatch/fr/...oyal-oak-.htmlThis grey dealer having sold me and my wife a few watches, we have developed quite a nice relation with him and he is very honest. While wanting to buy a watch that he has in stock, he told me to avoid buying one as, according to him, OP has a 25% return rate on their RO's, how is that even possible??? For me 25% return of new watches to the manufacture for defects is just crazy, especially for a brand like AP.Does anyone know about this and have any explanation about how such a thing is even possible?Always thought that AP were nearly flawless watch movements and that you could buy your eyes closed, not according to my grey dealer, since I was hesitating between that one and a Blancpain, that he doesn't have, he told me it would be better to get the BP, that they didn't
AP ROC brown dial...
Hi AllI am about to purchase my first AP!I have been looking for 15300 and/or ROC for a while...just got an offer today for the ROC Brown dial.. (quite a good one)My top picks would be the panda or whiye dial but they are quite hard to find in my area..Should I take this deal? What do you think about this dial?Thank you in advance for all inputs (and sorry for my poor english)MossSent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
What do people think about Audemars Piguet?
I think I have two types of watches I love. One is of course Rolex but the other I've found out recently I love are Audemars Piguet (the ROO to be more specific). The design of the bezel seems not only rugged but elegant at the same time and I just love the ones with rubber or leather bracelet. They have a special touch to them. Just wanted to see what others think about it.

2011 Omega rumors!
I've heard it now from two sources. The Planet Ocean will not be getting the cal. 8500 movement next year. Rather, the exiting 2500 will be upgraded with the silicon balance spring. And the Liquidmetal bezel will be added to the line.Fr. John?
