In 1963 Jack Heuer started work on a new chronograph designed for drivers and motor-racing enthusiasts. A life-long fan of the sport himself, he knew what it was needed: a wide-open, easy-to-read dial and a shock-resistant and waterproof case tough enough for road wear. The following year he launched the result, a mechanical, manual-wound chronograph called the Carrera. The name derives from Carrera Pan Americana, a five-day, 2,100 mile race across Mexico. The most prestigious – and dangerous – endurance race of its day. Carerra in Spanish means competition of the highest order . Two of the same watch? Am I crazy?Anyone own two of the same watch. I love my B-1 so much I am contemplating adding another one in another dial color. I could switch it up a little bit and add an Airwolf. What are your thoughts?

Rare Omega single button chronograph
I recently had the opportunity to service a rare stainless steel, single button chronograph with the hack feature and thought you'd like to see some pictures. As noted on the case back, this model was made for the Royal Canadian Air Force.

5960a on a rubber strap?
I've been toying with the idea of trading a couple of my watches in for the steel 5960. I think having the option of leather and rubber straps would also be great. I've seen pics of the watch on a leather strap but none on a rubber strap. Any steel 5960s on a rubber strap out there?Cheers
