I have a 1940s Premier Chronograph. Timekeeping is amazing and chronograph function works on all but bottom dial which won't reset! Would you know if it's a big job to repair? The dial and hands appear original and untouched. I'm based in London. Thanks

Dear TRF members - I love you and hate you! I have been on this forum daily for the last 2 years but never decided to participate - I have a lot of experience in the last few years on watch purchases and now have decided to participate and add my opinion good or bad! I used to be a usual watch person buying and being happy with a Rolex every 10 years or so until I started to be influenced by you bad boys - But I love it!From Rolex TT Sub blue that I loved for years to 16520 flip, 116520 flip, AP Royal Oak flip, Submariner flip, Rose Gold Skydweller flip, Pam 311 ouch that was costly flip, Patek 5711/1a blue dial flip, Rolex DJ11 flip, and so on in the last 2 years - flip, flip, flip....Finally in the last few weeks settled on Patek 5167a and 5205G and first on AD list for 40th Nautilus. Anyway I hope you enjoy some photos and I look forward to discussing Patek and other brands with you all. Don't know how to upload multiple photos so the following will have to do!NB will also post

Great time to be a Panerai fan!
If you truly like the Panerai brand, and don't just follow trends like a sheep, now is the best time in the last 15 years to be a Panerai fan!The choices are amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the watches are actually obtainable.Up until recently, the average collector could not get the SE or hot watches without spending waaaay over retail. Now, the brand is making more pieces with historic ties and most can be had at a discount. For someone like me who has been following the brand for over 15 years...this is a great time.The history, look, and the DNA of the brand has not changed. I guess I'm just glad that some of the hype has passed....now I can buy some of the watches that I have wanted for many years because they are actually affordable again!That's all...just wanted to say that. Enjoy your day.Now I just need to wait for the vintage Rolex bubble to burst!

Facilitating a trade
hey gang.After much thought and careful consideration, I am looking to trade my Rolex Submariner two tone (Bluesy) for a no-holes GMT Pepsi that isn't buffed to a pulp.SO... this is where you all come in. How would one go about that? Is there a certain web dealer you would recommend? I have worked with DavidSW in the past and he is amazing but doesnt have one in stock. I would rather not post to the WTB section, I have heard that can be rather, lets say, more miss that hit!Any and all feedback is welcome. As always, thank you in advance!
