Hands-On: With The Bulgari Serpenti
The Bulgari Serpenti Collection is probably one of the most widely recognized jeweled watches on the market today. It is seen on the wrists of numerous high-profile celebrities and after seeing one in person, I can say with certainty is it definitely a showstopper. 1 OF 7 Bulgari, the well-known italian jewelry company, was founded in Rome in 1882 by Greek jeweler, Sotirios Voulgaris (later Romanized to Bulgari). The company continued to grow and was managed by three generations of the Bulgari family before being acquired by LVMH in 2011. It wasn’t until the 1970s, when the company saw very strong growth, that it became the internationally recognized brand it is today. 2 OF 7 The Serpenti is one of Bulgari's most recognizable designs and was first introduced in the 1940s. Patek Philippe Calatrava 5196G on my mind
I went to Tiffany & Co to view a 5196G today. Wow! Such a simple, beautiful, elegant watch. I wasn't totally sold on the Tiffany & Co stamp, so I am still trying to decide if I should purchase this one or go through a local AD that I would like to establish a continuing relationship with. Any 5196 lovers out there?
Best interview yet

Sometimes you have to do something stupid...
While not wanting the new GMT (in the minority I’m sure), I do want the new DSSD... I had the orgional from day one and like many (or some) it just didn’t sit right for me. With the redesign I think it will be good. BUT, in order to get one in a timely manner and not pay grey prices, and even though I do have a long relationship with my AD, I was not a big buyer (DavidSW got most of my business). So in order to get a new DSSD this summer, he said it will really help if you get something now (last Watch I got from him was the SD4K in 2016)... The only watch I wanted lately was the BLNR, and ended up getting a new from TRF about 6 weeks ago... Well he said I can get you the GMT you wanted, so not wanting to tell him I have it already, I told him to get it, and I’m going to sell my other BLNR... Yes, this is just crazy, but it’s going to be less than gray prices in the end, and can’t believe I’m even going to do this, but it’s my best ch
