Watches NEWS
aBlogtoRead.com Traffic Control Warns Of Delays
As you know aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer has been currently working to make itself at home on a new, more powerful server. The initial migration was only partially successful. Which is why aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer currently has limited functionality. For instance you can't contact me vial e-mail here, though there is always Twitter. Tweet me here at aBlogtoRead. The short of it is that aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer will be experiencing more down time this weekend. 48 hours max, on and off. So wish me luck, and know that all of this will be cleared up soon. I won't stop until it is back at 110%. I'll be back with more watch love so very soon.
Beware of AP HK boutique on changing strap
A young lady who changed the strap on my new ROO Ti put a scratch on the polished part of the lugs. Had the watch for 2 weeks and worn it less than 5x so I'm pretty sure the scratch wasn't from me as I baby all my watches. Beware!!! Will post pics of the watch to follow.
Ploprof 1200 arrived
I am a big fan of the Ploprof 1200 both as an everyday casual watch and because of it's place in the history of dive watches. I owned a Ploprof 1200 about 2 years ago and loved it but I was made an offer that I could not refuse to sell it! It is great to have one in my collection again. I like the way it looks on the oem orange rubber strap although I plan to wear it on the oem mesh bracelet. The Ploprof replaced the Rolex SDDS that I was wearing everyday.
PP Chrono Conundrum
Gentlemen, I'd appreciate your thoughts on my PP Chrono conundrum. I currently have a 5980 White dial that will be coming back from service after about 4.5 months. It's in beautiful almost mint condition and has been my favorite chrono. As you know, the 5980 white dial had a shorter run than the generally more preferred blue dial 5980.During the service period, my AD contacted me to let me know I'm scheduled to receive the 5990 this Fall. I really like both and can keep both but feel having two chrono's might be redundant.Your thoughts as to what would you do? Thanks for your time!
Polished case and PCL question
What was the first sport type that this combo showed up on and why you think Rolex did this ?
