H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Tourbillon Watch
Have you ever noticed how fickle your own tastes can be? I don't like to admit it; I like to think of myself as a very decisive and principled guy, but sometimes my own volatility amazes me. The new H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Tourbillon didn't grab me at first. I thought it was fine C a solid design with some admirably artisanal features (check out that delicious fum dial) C but it did not blow my socks off. Not even a DLC coated titanium case that makes what should be a classic design somehow contemporary won me over. No, the thing that got me excited was a hidden hand. And then I started to notice all the other things I like about the watch, how it reminds me of one of my sneaky all-time favourites, the Bvx from Bottega Veneta, and how it sets out to satisfy a bold design brief and comes away with a smug smile on its face. This watch is not just a tourbillon. It features the option to have a second time zone displayed on the dial. The way in which this is achieved is perfectly simp
HourTime Watch Talk Podcast Is Here - About Us and A Trip to Japan
Hey guess what. You can hear me now (more often than just in review videos) in addition to reading me. John Biggs (of CrunchGearwatches-dealer and WristWatchReviewwatches-dealer) and I have started a new venture with the HourTime podcast show. We will be doing at least a couple of shows a month, talking about watches, between two watch guys. You'll be able to submit questions, comments, and of course topic requests. For more information, or to listen to the shows, visit HourTimeShowwatches-dealer.We just released our first show, "About Us and a Trip to Japan." It is still a bit rough, the audio levels need to be tweaked so we sound as "delightful" as possible. It is gonna get better from here, and I understand that you'll be able to subscribe to the show on iTunes soon. I'll likely post here on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer with each new show.In this first episode, we introduce ourselves, tell you what we do and where we come from with watches and discuss a few watch pet peeves. Also, phon

1965 De Ville Automatic HELP!
So I have a 1965 14k Yellow Gold plated De Ville automatic that I found 15yrs ago that I thought I lost then. Just found it again. I can't find much information on these. Is it because they are less desirable or because there are not as many as the SeaMaster? Someone borrowed my cam so I don't have pics. What is the ballpark price on these? I Just ordered a band and buckle from Omega so I can start wearing this puppy. Any info would be appreciated. On Watch:Adjusted 2 positions 24 jewels 711 (Caliber)On cover :Fd 16102480microns
590 vs. 634
Hey guys I'm on the fence for a preowned 590 vs 634. I definitely like the aesthetics of the 634 better - but i feel the 590 on paper is a superior watch with its inhouse movement and 8day PR.Plus the 634 is $500 more expensive than the inhouse 590 on the secondary market if you can believe that.Would appreciate some guidance from Ristis out there. Cheers
