BEST FROM: watches-dealer & Friends June 5, 2015
This month, we once again?have the pleasure of checking out?an eclectic mix of mechanical timepieces. To begin, there's Cabestan's wild Triple Axis Tourbillon watch, Bovet's distinctive Amadeo Virtuoso VII Retrograde Perpetual Calendar watch, and a new version of De Bethune DB25QP Perpetual Calendar watch.Moving on, we have noticed that after many years of large watches, it seems that smaller and more modestly-sized watches are in vogue now. The question, however, is are you man enough to wear a smaller watch? Stopped in Omega today
So I got rid of my PO 8500 cal. Im currently with out an Omega. I happen to be by the Omega boutique and stopped in. I'm in love with the new Seamaster 300! I use to own this watch, mine was new in 98. It had the wave dial. I realized how much I miss this model. The new version does not have the wave dial, it has the new ceramic bezel and the Lume has been increased. Very clean- What a beautiful watch! I'm sure I'll be adding this watch in the near future.
My new 5270
Ok, after 6 weeks of shopping I pulled the trigger on the 5270. I know that the 5970 is iconic but this piece is far superior as a grand complication perpetual calendar chronograph. Thanks to hutchman for his perspective and to Alan for getting his first. Unfortunately no wrist shots until Fri or sat. I am traveling and no room in the bag. So FedEx for Friday delivery. And yest that is the only other pic I took. Going to see it again later tonight. Going to Patek Event and will take Pics.
Now that I only Own 1 Rolex, a Daytona, I miss Spinning my
