The Most Important Watches At SIAR Madrid 2015
By Santiago TejedorJune 11-14, 2015, saw the Saln Internacional de Alta Relojera (SIAR) opening its doors once again, this year in Spain, as a sister event to SIAR Mexico City. SIAR Madrid is really a spin-off event (run by most of the same people) from the long-standing salon held in Mxico that watches-dealer founder Ariel covered for its 2014 event here. This was the second edition and, for what I hear from the exhibiting brands, the outcome was pretty decent, which augurs a third edition. The preamble was not very promising, though: after days of scorching heat, Madrid was hit by a monsoon, a freak downpour which flooded the city. Maybe some more experienced members can comment. These 2 examples have the same font:C-series in the upcoming Sotheby's auction:.sothebys/en/auctions/...68/lot.53.htmlD-series for sale:.watchuwant/watches/au...k#.VVwg4PmqpBcThis one in question. It is a C series but the logo is different and the sub dials are different..thebeautifulwatch/fr/...al-oak-qp.htmlCan anyone comment?

NATO on yachtmaster?
I've seen plenty of NATO straps on Subs and GMT's but never on a Yachtmaster.I bring it up because I have located a yachtmaster watch, head only as the bracelet was damaged. It's 2 tone with a slate dial and I was wondering how it might look with a brown or tan leather NATO.Thoughts?
