The unique piece exemplifies what Jaquet Droz is best known for by using the historical technique of paillonné enameling. 1 OF 2 The 43 mm, 18k yellow gold case features a deep red pailloné enameled dial, a technique that was handed down from the goldsmiths of the Renaissance. The motif is created by carefully placing tiny pieces of gold leaf on the dial, followed by the red Grand Feu enamel, which creates the translucent sunburst pattern and intricate trellis-work. 2 OF 2 In addition to the unique dial, the movement features a new silicon spiral, a new material used in the movement of the Petite Heure Minute, and allows for better shock resistance and pressure variations. New PO Rubber Strap.
Just got my new rubber strap for my PO. It's like having two watches now. As much as I like the Omega Bracelets, I must say I like the look of this rubber strap with it better. Maybe becasue it's new :)The PO is the 42mm version.
