Memorigin Transformers Tourbillon Watches With Optimus Prime Or Bumblebee
This is the limited edition Memorigin Transformers Tourbillon watch collection. First there was the Memorigin Batman The Dark Knight Rises Tourbillon, the Memorigin Superman Tourbillon, and now we get a tourbillon-equipped watch with either Optimus Prime or Bumblebee.Memorigin is a Hong Kong-based watchmaker which exists as part of the emerging "high-end Chinese watch" category that watches-dealer has been covering for the last two years or so. While China is ground zero for the world's inexpensive watches, they have a growing "high-end" timepieces segment as well. Most of these more interesting Chinese mechanical watches are made by China for China, some of them are slowly seeing their way to other parts of Asia, Europe, and the United States. With the visage of Transformer Optimus Prime or Bumblebee on the dial, it is arguably easy to scoff at the themes presented here which are then combined with a tourbillon. Then again, these aren't $100,000 watches or anything close to that. No, a
Montblanc Limited Edition Star Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph
Press release - dedicated to the inventor of the first "writer time" for the first of its own first-calibre, Montblanc has created a chronograph of historic proportions, the name of the inventor of the chronograph: Nicolas Rieussec, who, in 1821, developed a watch with rotating dials in which an ink marker attached to the fixed index wrote the downtime. For the first time, this has allowed the time finishing of individual horses at horse of the time. The invention was considered as so ingenious that it gave the chronograph its name: "chronos" for the time and "graphein" to "writing". Technique of Rieussec of two rotating disks has inspired the new Montblanc Star Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph, and this has been integrated in a unique masterpiece of chronographic watchmaking with barrels of binoculars and a 72 hours power reserve.
New addition 5961R
Bought myself a 29th birthday present this weekend when I was staying at the Wynn in Las Vegas. Hadn't seem this piece in person but I LOVED it, despite having a normal 5960r as well. You be the judge...
Very frustrated: My new 5270 has a sticking / loose Day aperture
Two nights ago, the Day aperture got stuck - I noticed it when I awoke in the morning yesterday. It didn't complete its move from FRI to SAT. Having read about recent Patek QC issues, I was aware others have had this problem as of late. I reset the watch and wore it yesterday, and watched it until just after midnight. The Day slowly moved from SAT to SUN, but it never made it as of 12:15am when I went to sleep. I woke to find the Day aperture as shown in the first three pictures below. Needless to say, I was very frustrated. This morning, I have been wearing the watch over next hour or so to see if that would do anything. While wearing it, I noticed the Day moved around slightly, as if it's loose, within the aperture. Depending on how I twist my wrist, the Day moves around. It doesn't happen with gentle, normal movements of the wrist, but rather if I twist it a little aggressively (I stress a little here so some don't think I'm slamming my wrist around). Mind you that is not how I norm
Rolex Datejust jubilee bracelet
I have just purchased my 1st ever Rolex a 1986 Datejust from goldsmith when I have picked it up the bracelet is very loose on it the adviser said it's because it's 30 years old but I was wondering how much it would cost for a new bracelet from Rolex or for it it be serviced by Rolex because I have heard they fix the strap up like new, if they are to pricy then I can just take the watch back and look again, thanks I have uploaded a picture from the net it's not my watch but it's just like the way the bracelet is hanging, i say mine is more hanging tbh, it won't let me put my own pictures up sorry
