How's it going everyone I am thinking about trading my ceramic sub no date and my explorer ii 42mm polar white for a royal oak gray dial. I went to the boutique in NYC and tried them on. I fell in love with the gray dial. I am just a little apprehensive being that I will be wearing this watch as a daily. Can someone give me some insight on the on the movement is it rigid enough for everyday use? Will it be able to take a little bit of a beating? Thank you in advance
Breitling For Bentley
I was invited to a Breitling and Bentley event were the St Louis Bentley dealership and the St Louis Breitling AD are going to show off the new models of both watches and cars. That made me curious as to the opinion of Breitling For Bentley brand.I've seen some unfavorable comments on the forum about the Breitling for Bentleys. However, I noticed the preowned prices for them are pretty attractive, especially for the stainless steel complications. So the question is, are the Breitling for Bentleys looked down on from a collector stand point?
Nautilus as an everyday watch/beater? What do you think?
Good day everyone. So i'm calling guys that own either a 5711 or 5712. Still undecided between both these beautiful watches, but they are the same build so either one can be used as a reference.I currently own a Rolex Sub which was gifted to me by my Father years ago which I love. The rolex will continue to be my watch for activities like sports sports, mountain climbing, or beach watch, and also my work watch as I sometimes abuse my wrist at work.In all other circumstances I would be using the Nautilus. My outings from casual shorts/jeans dressing, to dinners, to going to the bar, and even traveling which I do once or twice a month, and just everything else.Do you think the 5711 is made to be a daily use watch? How do you think she will hold up?I am pretty wrist aware, however the watch is bound to take some hits eventually.I have seen a white dial 5711 that looked liked it was really abused, but honestly still looked really good to me. Looking for insight from guys that are using thei
Patek & Rolex Conundrum ...
I can't tell if something is wrong with me or if this is normal. I own a few Pateks including the 5167 and 5296. I've owned several Rolexes over the past few years including Datejust, Sub, Yachtmaster and sold them all due to size, thickness and comfort issues with the bracelet. I now have an opportunity to pickup a Daytona but afraid I won't like it as well and not looking forward to losing money on a flip. Has anyone else been in the position of never warming up to Rolex and only wanting to wear Patek ? I feel I should own at least one Rolex !? What gives ??
